TJ Cycles

TJ Cycles is the trading name for Trevor Jarvis who formed the company in Burton-on-Trent in 1979 and obtained the license to remanufacture the famed Baines ‘Whirlwind’ frames that were made between 1930s and 1950s and at the time were nick-named ‘Flying Gates’ for obvious reasons.

The company is still flourishing and manufactures orthodox and well as ‘Flying Gate’ designs
