Buck

Bucks Cycles of Clapgate Lane, Ipswich was the mecca for keen cyclists in the area in the 1970s and 80s. It was a family business, which opened in the 1960s by Roland Buck. Roland was a superb wheel builder and his wife, was in charge of day-to-day running of the shop.


Their son Graham, became an accomplished bike mechanic, active on the racing scene, and provided sponsored frames to top local riders eventually inherited the business.


The business closed it’s doors in the early 2000s
