Atom

Atom Cycles was the trading name of artisan frame builder Andrew Thomson who worked out of his own premises in Hazel Grove near Manchester in the 1990s.

Andrew learned his skills from Frank Herety the renowned Stockport frame builder.

His work was always very ornate and unique during the short time he pursued that interest.

Andrew left the cycle business in the 1998 and went on to become involved with landscape gardening.

In the four years between Andrew leaving and 2002 when the workshop was destroyed by a spectacular firework infused fire and business ceased, all Atom frames were built by Chris Riley.
