Alan

Founded in 1972 by Lodovico Falconi, an engineer who had worked for Torpado. 

The ALAN brand became one of the most successful makers of aluminum bicycles, virtually dominating the top ranks of cyclocross for 20 years and providing pro rides on the road as well. 

ALAN also supplied frames for other brands including Guerciotti, Fabo, Colnago & others. 

ALAN has a reputation for structural integrity, due to their unique system of threading the tube and lug joints, making both a mechanical and bonded connection, referred to as "Glued and Screwed." They are still a very successful cycle business today.
