Restored frame number 2154. Built by Bill Philbrook using Reynolds 531 butted tubing, early pattern Nervex Pro lugs and Simplex rear drop-outs with hanger (adapted for Simplex 543 gear).

Equipped with GB spearpoint stem with GB bars, Bartali brake levers with Agrati Bowden callipers (as used by the Benotto pro team). Simplex 543 rear derailleur with Simplex Competition rod front changer, Stronglight type 45 cranks, hollow axle with Simplex ‘Touriste’ rings, Lyotard CA pedals, Campagnolo Gran sport small flange hubs on Weinmann 27” rims, Brooks B17 saddle on plain alloy seatpin, Bluemels ‘lightweight’ mudguards.
